508 Cooperation organizations, think tanks and specialist professionals are already part of CAGG network.

21 Agreements signed and approved with think tanks and cooperation platforms working in the 33 countries of Latin America and the Caribbean.

WORKING MEETINGS WITH INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION ACTORS

After the personal meeting during the Global Solutions summit in Berlin in mid-May, we held new working meetings with Friederike Franz, Global Forum for Food and Agriculture G20 coordinator at the German Ministry of Food and Agriculture.

We explored synergies by promoting the participation of CAGG network think tanks as exhibitors at the Policies against Hunger XIV conference held in Berlin on June 27 and 28.

We also analyzed possible funding options to develop evidence-based studies on the food security and circular economy agenda in the LATAM countries.

We held several working meetings with Miguel Panadero, UNSSC's Knowledge Centre for Leadership and Management Director

The main purpose of meetings was to analyze joint work projects on awareness raising and training on the global warming and climate change agenda through the UN Climate agencies and the Euroclima+ program.

Different inception work formats were also analyzed to be applied together with the ministers, secretaries and heads of environmental agencies of the 33 Latin American and Caribbean countries.

We are also planning with Francisco Ardilla Suárez and Roberto Arrucha the involvement and institutional sponsorship from the Institute for New Economic Thinking of Berlin and The Global School for New Leadership of Vienna in a cycle of bi-regional EU-LATAM meetings organized by CAGG with policy makers and multilateral cooperation agencies.

These meetings will be held between September and December in the cities of Madrid, Berlin, Brussels and Geneva.

PROPOSALS MENTORING - SECOND CALL AL INVEST VERDE – EU

On the second call for projects AL Invest Verde program, we held a series of working meetings with CAGG partners network in Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, Brazil, Peru and Honduras.

NEW INSTITUTIONAL ALLIANCES WITH THINK TANKS IN THE LATAM REGION

CLARA NETWORK

We also explored new synergies and involvement of CAGG network partners in the implementation of the BELLA II program, a regional initiative funded by the European Union that aims to reduce the digital gap and support development of the necessary infrastructure to consolidate and expand a digital ecosystem of science, technology, education and innovation.

Finally we held a meeting to explore institutional synergies with Luis Vargas, executive director and Eleni Kokkdiou, institutional relations director at Espacio Público.

This Chilean think tank is characterized by promoting projects and research focused on improving the design and implementation of public policies, promoting quality debate, working with high methodological standards and involving citizens.
